What goes into making Photorealism in Unity?
Lighting system

- Use Unity 2020.31
- Start with or convert to HDRP
- Go to edit -> Project Settings -> Quality
- make a new quality level by typing in a new name
- In the project window under settings duplicate the HDRPHighQuality and name it HDRPRTXQuality.
- Then drag it to the Rendering pipeline slot in the Project settings under Quality
- With HDRPRTXQuality still selected under the inspector check Realtime Raytracing (Preview)
- Go to Windows -> Render Pipeline -> HD Render Pipeline Wizard
- Select the tab HDRP + DXR
- Click the Fix all button
- Click the icon for the scene settings located at the top of the viewport. It looks like a video camera.
- Set Camera anti-aliasing to temporal anti-aliasing
- Also under the effects drop down at the top of the viewport check Always Refresh
- Select game camera and in the inspector make sure that Temporal Anti-aliasing is chosen for Post Anti-Aliasing
